The Play on Pleats Baby Dress & Bloomers, created by Charlotte Potter and featured in the Summer 2023 issue of Classic Sewing, is a simple A-line dress with pleated front embellishments. It features eight pleats on the front that release to provide fullness. Three sequin pearl buttons sewn at center front divide the pleats equally. Couched 1/4″ wide rickrack borders the neckline and arm opening. The dress closes in the back with pearl buttons.
This kit includes fabric, rickrack, elastic, ribbon, thread, floss, pearl buttons, sequins, and snaps to make a size 3M–24M dress and bloomers.
