A christening accessories holder is the perfect way to store christening accessories that were part of a baby’s important ceremony. It will protect those adorable socks, a bonnet, tiny jewelry, and other items that will carry meaning through a lifetime. The pocketed holder is secured over a padded hanger, so you can tuck your memories away and hang them wherever you hang your gown. This project can also be enlarged to fit an adult hanger, if desired. The front and back of the accessories holder each have three zippered pockets. An optional monogram may be added to the middle or lower pocket of the front to personalize it (we have provided our Vintage Royal Alphabet machine embroidery collection with this e-pattern). Each pocket front is lined to totally enclose the zipper tape. The pictured holder is made from white cotton sateen with ecru embroidery and embellishments. Change out the ecru to white for an equally beautiful project. This pattern was excerpted from the book Sewing for a Royal Baby. Download this e-pattern instantly and start sewing this project today!
This e-pattern also includes a bonus PDF, excerpted from Sewing for a Royal Baby, featuring general instructions for some of our favorite techniques.
