Basic Button-Back Daygown & Slip – Digital Pattern

The sky is the limit on ways to embellish this basic button-back daygown. With three sleeve variations—a short puff sleeve, a long sleeve, and a straight hemmed or cuffed sleeve—this gown is suitable for a baby girl or boy! The pattern is given in two lengths—a traditional daygown length and a longer gown length. The hem of the gown is finished with a simple turned-up hem. In addition to multiple neck finishes and sleeve finishes, an optional pocket is provided. This pocket would be the perfect place for a monogram or other embroidery design. Use this pattern as a base for your favorite embroidery or heirloom techniques. You be the designer! The downloadable pattern is given in sizes 0–3 months, 3–6 months, and 6–12 months.
